METOP is proud to present SMM-8AF with auto focus, a new developement of the well-known score microscope SMM-7 used by many satisfied customers around the world. We have now developed software and a motorized focusing unit that can recognize exactly when the camera/lens is vertically in focus of the score surface, which in principal replaces the human eye for focusing. The new development is a step in the direction of making the measurement totally man independent!
